Melford Hall’s Art Fair brings together a group of East Anglian artists, chosen to ensure a variety of styles and tastes, to exhibit their paintings throughout the house. Not only is there an opportunity to buy the paintings, but also to meet the artists who will be demonstrating their skills. All the artists donate 20% of the price to the upkeep of Melford Hall.

Stately Home Car Boot Sale at Melford Hall

The Stately Home Car Boot Sale Returns on Sunday 12th May ’19 with over 100 stalls sell everything from antiques to furniture and knickknacks. Refreshments and BBQ also available.

Normal entry for visitors is from 9:30am, admission is £2.00 per person on the gate.

A VIP ticket option is also available offering exclusive entry from 8.30am, with VIP parking right next to the entrance. VIP tickets must be purchased in advance and cost £6.00 per person.

Free Car Parking. Toilet’s Disabled parking. Free entry to under 16’s. Dog’s allowed.

Everyday Life through the Ages at Kentwell Hall

Long Melford Open Gardens

Long Melford’s Annual Open Gardens returns on Bank Holiday Monday 27th May ’19. Visit a variety of gardens open to the public from courtyard gardens to country houses. Refreshments will be available from St Catherine’s Church on St Catherine’s Road and some gardens may have plants for sale.

Entry programs with a map showing all the gardens are £5 per person and all monies raised from the event go towards funds for the Holy Trinity Church, Long Melford. Programs will be available in advance from selected outlets in the village, to be announced, or can be purchased on the day from participating gardens.
